Red Planet

Will we take our bad habits, to the red planet?

Not if we can help it

If there’s a chain then we can break it

Where are you now Johnny in the clouds?

You’ve lost your light

Satellite

Can you grow a new tree, from the same seed?

And can you build a new world, from the same dream?

Where are you now Johnny in the clouds?

You’ve lost your light

Satellite

Georgina Gilmartin is a self-taught musician and singer songwriter from Barnsley who made her first live debut at an open mic night in 2011. She has been performing predominantly around Barnsley, Sheffield and York ever since and her music is usually described as ‘Alternative Folk’. She is currently studying English Literature and Creative Writing at York St John University, and she says she is absolutely thrilled that the Terra Two project has provided an opportunity for her to entwine her two loves of music and writing together.

Her creative intention was to write and record an ethereal and atmospheric piece of music which captured the cosmic and otherworldly ambiance Terra Two and the literature it engages with provokes.
